AMV BBDO leads UK Branded Content shortlist with Guinness “sapeurs” work

The UK has received 11 nominations in the Branded Content and Entertainment category at this year’s Cannes Lions, level pegging with France.

AMV BBDO London’s work on the “Sapeurs” film for Diageo’s Guinness has been shortlisted for both non-fiction TV and broadcast and non-fiction online, alongside its “Christmas in a day film” for Sainsbury’s.

Martin Sorrell’s Cannes Lions talk with Twitter CEO Dick Costolo and Viacom president Philippe Dauman is being live-streamed after winning the online Lions Live vote for Thursday.

Sorrell’s holding group WPP used this drawing online to promote the talk and call for votes – which clearly worked.
